Pizza Boy makes the Absolute Best pizza I have ever tasted! And I love pizza. The crust has amazing flavor and the perfect balance of crispness to chewy. I have never tasted a better pizza, seriously. I love the fresh basil on it as well. And trust, it's not burnt, it's just cooked perfectly!
Absolute fire...Enjoyed the 14” “Go-To,” as well as an order of 4 pizza rolls all for 30. Pricing is great for today’s economy and the food tasted amazing. The pizza rolls are made like cinnamon rolls but are savory with a compliment of sweetness from the Hot Honey that is drizzled on them. Unfortunately, I’m only visiting the area for work and won’t be able to become a regular, I absolutely would if that not were the case. Do your self a favor and visit the Pizza Boy and support a small business in your community, that isn’t attempting to absolutely gouge consumers on profit margins.
This is the best pizza, with the best ingredients that I have ever had in the city of Youngstown. Me and my friend grabbed a couple of pies and sat outside on the bench and just talked. I can’t wait to go back. Sausage is incredible. Ricotta is fresh and light. The dough is real. Light but also satisfying.

Ordered it for my crew at work yesterday before looking at any reviews. While waiting, saw reviews saying they bake it where it's more crispy and got worried. All worries left after actually trying it though. Was amazing, some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. Out of the entire crew, only one person said the crust was to crispy for them, but still thought it was good. Takes longer than most places due to how it's cooked, but worth the wait. Will go again if in the area. While prices seemed high, was pretty fair with what you got. Ordered a large cheese, and small pepperoni pizza, was around 40 dollars. Which fed a working crew of 5, with leftovers, as 2 slices here equal about 4 at most places. Staff was very pleasant, which included the owner I am assuming based on them talking, and the place was clean, as you can see them working when at the counter.
Pizza boy has no business being this darn good. Their pizza is absurdly delicious and high quality and pairs perfect with their hot honey! Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.
Tried this for the first time today and all I can say is omg... it’s incredible. By far the best pizza I have tried in the Youngstown area. No it is not cheap but for this kind of quality you must pay a premium. A large pizza is def enough for probably 3 adults maybe 4
The pizza is, of course, excellent. What really sets Pizza Boy apart is the sandwiches. The Philly Cheesesteak is the best in the area and would be right at home in Philly itself. I also enjoy the Shrimp Rolls on Fridays. A typical shrimp roll is either Maine or Connecticut style, with either mayo or butter. Ross had the idea to combine the two. I like the way the man thinks. The Sunday brunch options are also delicious, the mustard on the sausage egg and cheese sandwich is a nice touch
